Ray McKenzieFounder and Managing Director

Raymond (Ray) McKenzie is the Founder and Managing Director of Red Beach Advisors. With more than 20 years of experience as a senior business executive and consultant leading global organizations ranging from small businesses, startups, and large enterprises. Ray has held various senior executive positions with companies such as Verisign, Neustar, State Farm Insurance, TeleSign, UltraDNS and has served in an advisory role for several start-up companies in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. Ray McKenzie completed his studies in Management Information Systems from San Diego State University in 2001 and is a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF). Mr. McKenzie is also a certified Lean Six Sigma sensei (CLSSS) practitioner from Villanova University, is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance. Mr. McKenzie currently sits on the board of trustees for Resolute Academy Charter School in Watts, CA, on the board of directors for My Friend’s House, Inc. based in Los Angeles, CA and Students With Aspiring Goals based in Merced, CA and regularly speaks to groups of children and youth regarding entrepreneurship, leadership, and achievement.

Ray Stephens is a senior executive with a management background spanning functional areas of growth businesses. He has a track record of scaling Marketing teams, partnering with Sales organizations to drive growth, delivering strategic analysis, and supporting C-Suite execs. Ray has held various senior executive positions with companies such as Verisign, Neustar, UltraDNS, Sinch, and Ascensus. In addition, he has provided strategic consulting to telecommunications companies as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and other Washington, DC based advisory firms. Ray completed his studies in Marketing and Finance at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. Mr. Stephens also holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

David Novosad is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience, specializing in scaling high-growth SaaS companies. Adaptable and resilient, he played a key role in successful turnarounds during multiple recessions, driving organizational success through significant change. As a board officer at UltraDNS, Teneros, and Beneco, he ensured transparency and maintained investor confidence during challenging periods. At Verisign, he served as GM & Vice President, managing P&L and scaling a new business unit. Recently, David has been a fractional CFO and COO for early-stage companies in sports tech, assistive technology, AI, cybersecurity, and professional services.

Shelli PriceGovernment Services Proposal Manager

Shelli Price is the Government Services Proposal Manager at Red Beach Advisors. Prior to joining Red Beach Advisors, Shelli worked in the broadcast television industry for 15 years at Turner Broadcasting. Shelli has an extensive background in writing, proposal management, and editing. Ms. Price graduated from the California State University of Northridge where she studied Journalism with an emphasis in broadcasting and a she also obtained a minor in African American Studies.
