Partners make up a significant portion of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem. Strategic program development is needed to help partners grow and provide value through their services. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments, on a metered pay-as-you-go basis.

Client Needs:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud computing platform provider in the world with an expansive partner network that spans more than 100,000 partners, solutions providers, and service providers. AWS offers partners a significant number of programs to help partners have a successful practice and partnership with AWS, however many partners do not know how to take advantage of the programs available. AWS needed to develop a strategic workshop to present to their partners helping them understand their path as a partner, programs available to work with AWS, and best practices of successful AWS partners.

Red Beach Advisors Solution:

Red Beach Advisors met with AWS program leadership to understand the programs available for all partners based on partner type, services offered, and tier. We reviewed more than 200 documents across several divisions to understand the offerings to partners within the AWS ecosystem. Upon a review of the information and programs, we developed a two-day on-site or virtual workshop for AWS partners that included information on each benefit provided in partnership with AWS. The workshop was designed to speak to the business leaders and executives along with containing a technical track to discuss the implementation of solutions for customers and clients. The developed content also included best practices amongst cloud service providers and partners that have exhibited considerable success. 

Result: 

AWS was able to launch the developed program workshop to several partners across the world with facilitation by Red Beach Advisors. Partners rated the workshop 10 out of 10 for each facilitated workshop. The workshop was also designed to track the performance of the partner for the trailing 12 months. Partners exhibited a 20% increase in services offered, 35% increase in improved customer satisfaction, and the acquisition of two or more certifications to improve the promotion of their cloud services and practice.
